Your Step-by-Step Journey

Theory Course

You’ll begin with 25 hours of classroom instruction led by our certified instructors. We cover the rules of the road, signage, safety, driver responsibilities, and more. This foundation prepares you for what’s ahead behind the wheel.

Written Exams

Once the theory course is completed, you’ll take the written tests required by Service New Brunswick. After passing them, you’ll receive your learner’s permit—your very first key to independence.

Getting Your Learner’s Permit

Once you’ve passed the written exams, you’ll be issued a learner’s (or beginner) permit. This allows you to begin accompanied driving with an instructor or a qualified adult. You’ll need to hold this permit for a mandatory 8-month probationary period before you can take the road test.

Driving Course

During your 8-month learner period, you’ll complete 10 hours of on-road driving with one of our instructors. You’ll learn how to manoeuvre, handle unexpected situations, park, and drive in various conditions. Every session is designed to help you build skills and confidence.

Final Road Test

Once your training is complete and the 8-month probation is over, we’ll support you through your road test. You can also rent a fully insured school vehicle for the day of the test. The goal? To prove you’re ready to drive solo, safely and responsibly.

Getting Your Probationary Licence

After passing your road test, you’ll be issued a probationary licence. Congratulations! You’re now free to drive without an instructor. The only thing left is to gain experience before qualifying for your full Class 5 licence.
